Our UA Library… needs your support

The renewal levy is not a tax increase

• renewal maintains the same property tax rate that has been in effect since 2002
• renewal funding continues services that residents value and depend on

The renewal levy keeps the doors open and the lights on

• access to latest books, broad selection of movies and music in multiple formats
• great programs
• convenient locations and online self service for reserving and renewing items
• first source for local history records, consumer report documents, and homework help

The current levy expires at the end of 2012

• over half of library revenues come from the local levy due to cuts in state public library fund
• without local support the library must make drastic cuts to hours, materials and programs
